Almost everyone can agree that the years from 6th to 8th grade are some of the worst years. Your hormones are going crazy. Drama around dating begins, and other stuff that will most likely have little to no effect on the rest of your life. Since Watershed is such a small school, we are lucky to not have to deal with of these problems in the same dramatic way. However, attending a public middle school for 3 years of my life, all of which I now deeply regret, I can confidently say that these three years referred to as “middle school” are nothing more than a useless occupation of time to keep this group from entering into public prematurely.
Having escaped these experiences, I try to stay away from all middle school drama. I don’t care if you think Rebecca is being rude by not waving to you in the halls or your best friend is now dating your crush. I understand that this information is upsetting to you; however, think about what you’re saying… is it important? Everything is temporary, so your overly dramatic conversation won’t last forever, and for the rest of those surrounding you, please be quiet.
